8 More Parties Officially Join the Kenya Kwanza Alliance, Sign Coalition Agreement.

Tuesday afternoon, leaders from various political parties signed a coalition agreement deal for the Kenya Kwanza Alliance, which brought together a whooping 12 parties.

The signing, witnessed by lawyers representing various parties in the coalition had Moses Kuria's Chama Cha Kazi, Mwangi Kiunjuri's The Service Party, Justin Muturi's Democratic Party, William Kabogo's Tujibebe Party, Martin Wambora's Umoja na Maendeleo Party, the Farmers Party, Economic Freedom Party, and Devolution Party of Kenya.

The 9 parties joined the Kenya Kwanza founding parties namely Deputy President William Ruto's United Democratic Alliance, Musalia Mudavadi's Amani National Congress, and Moses Wetangula's Ford-Kenya.

Speaking at the event, DP Ruto said that all parties that joined Kenya Kwanza did so willingly, however claiming that their rival Coalition Azimio La Umoja coerced political parties into joining them. He said that Kenya Kwanza is about the people of Kenya, improving agriculture, economic empowernment, and respect of the constitution will the guiding light in their reign.
